Hey all!
I'm falling asleep as I write this, so let's hope for both our sakes that I make it to pushing the "publish post" button before I reach my limit.
Today I went into Boston to meet up with a friend. We had coffee and then walked around for a little while in a main shopping area. It was not a successful shopping endeavor, but it was a nice day. When we parted ways I went somewhere else to continue my shopping hunt, with no more luck than before.
Tonight I had dinner at a friend's house with a few other people. It was really nice to see some old friends, catch up, and have a good meal.
The earrings I made today are similar to the green ones I made the other day, because I used the square wire to make a frame on which I could wrap wire and beads.
This time, I used pinkish whitish beads and wrapped them around the outside rather than stringing them through the middle, like what I had done with those green beads in the other earrings. It was a little time consuming but I like the outcome.
The one problem is that these beads don't stick out enough from the wire. When I get back to school, I have some blue-green ink I might use to try to dye the beads a stronger color. We'll see if anything actually comes of that idea. In the meantime, I like what I have created.
Love and Beads,
Eve
