Hey all!
Today I had to present the paper I've been tirelessly working on the past few days (and less tirelessly working on for weeks) in my Theory and Methods of Art History class. It was nerve-wracking, to say the least. I got so much feedback though that I'm getting excited about it, this could actually be a really great paper. Now I just have to get motivated. Once the presentation was done, my brain decided it was break. Technically I am not on break until I finish class on Thursday, but try telling that to my head.
I have boldly gone today where I haven't really gone before: ring territory. My friend recently broke her ring she bought in Israel a few years back. I said I would try to make her a new one, since it was only made of wire and I thought I could attempt it.
The result is something a little different than the original, but I am proud of it nonetheless. If she wants me to try again, this time staying closer to the original, I won't be offended. This was just a fun foray into a different genre.
You know what else I learned in this experiment? Rings are HARD to photograph. I tried my best!
Love and Beads,
Eve
