Day 81

Hey all!

Today I spent the first half of the day (as well as all of yesterday) writing a paper which I originally thought was supposed to be 7-10 pages.  Apparently I made the 7 up, it was a 10 page paper people!  Needless to say, I was stressed and crazy, pumping out some extra pages.  Sorry I didn't blog yesterday but I was in the midst of this intense paper situation.  I'm back now!

I had a big dinner to go to and help out with tonight, so after I finished my paper I was working on that.  Then I hung out with friends, came back to my apartment where some more friends came to visit, and then cleaned my room.  I guess it was a pretty eventful day.  Oh, then of course I made some earrings.

I decided yet again to use those rings I got from AC Moore.  There is just so much you can do with them!  I wrapped Swarovski crystals around the rings with wire tonight for something simple and interesting.

There's something about these that I really love.  A woman once gave me some tips on what people like in their jewelry and she strongly believed in the power of odd numbers.  For a while I only used an odd number of beads in earrings for just that reason.  I have gotten over that, of course, because it was very limiting.  Still, sometimes using three beads rather than two or four really does seem to create something special.  Maybe it's in my head, or I'm just rambling because I'm falling asleep.  Regardless, I am proud and intrigued by these earrings.

Love and Beads,
Eve
