Today I went to Starbucks with the intention of doing work all day. Going there with two friends turned out to be a terribly misguided plan, and I am now trying to get all that procrastinated work done. Other highlights of today included an intramural volleyball game (which we lost but enjoyed) and celebrating a friend's birthday.
I skipped blogging yesterday because I was just so tired. I revealed to you my plan to make jewelry earlier in the day but I have not yet put this plan into action. Instead, I'm here at 2 am blogging from my bed.
Here are today's lovely earrings:
I am hopefully taking a much needed trip to the bead store in the near future. My earrings are all beginning to look quite similar and I think getting new beads may inspire some new designs. In the meantime, I happen to really like today's pair.
I used some of my favorite gold chain to hang a flattened teardrop shaped bead (note: definitely not the correct technical term). Up top, I added a small green bead for an added pop of color. Voila! They may not be revolutionary, but they are elegant.
Now it is back to work for me!
