Ah, 2 am, we have got to stop meeting like this. Right now I'm in bed, trying to blog as fast as possible so that I may get some sleep. New goal: make earrings and blog earlier in the day so I won't feel the need to rush, so I can stop feeling like the blog is the only thing standing between me and sleep. As it is, that's sort of the feeling I'm having tonight. Bear with me as I rush to tell you about my day and my earrings, this problem will be resolved soon enough!
Tonight was my gallery opening. We worked really hard to put the whole exhibit together and it was very successful. A lot of people came to see the exhibit, and many of my friends came and showed support. It was just an overall lovely night and I'm so proud of the way it turned out.
That's just a view of part of the exhibit, to give you a little taste of what it was like.
On to the earrings! Tonight I went simple and classic (well, my kind of classic). Top bead plain, second bead wrapped in wire.
I'm proud of them because they are funky but still so easy to match with just about anything. The black and white color palette enables them to be very versatile.
They are so simple, I've almost run out of things to say! No, I definitely have. It's bedtime for sure.
