Today I finally got to go to the bead store! I had a delicious Thai lunch with my friend, then we were off to buy some beads. The coolest thing I got: square wire! The wire that I have always used has been round wire, and I didn't even realized square wire existed. It's hard to describe, but when I show you the ring I made today you will probably be able to see what I mean. It's a thicker wire also so it's a little sturdier. I'm really excited about it, so many possibilities!
Do you see how different this ring looks than anything else I've really ever made? I know it sounds a little silly to be so excited, but any time I have the possibility of going outside my comfort zones and my familiarity, at least in terms of jewelry, I'm intrigued.
It is so cool! I will definitely be making more rings with this new medium. Get ready!
