Day 68

Hey all!

Today was a windy day in North Carolina.  Regardless, we decided it was a good idea to go to the beach.  It was pretty chilly but pretty necessary, the ocean is just so close!

We went to the tallest lighthouse in America and had a picnic lunch on the lighthouse park grounds.  Magically, the sun came out.  Afterwards, we went to the grocery store, came back to the house, and made a delicious dinner.  Topped the day off with a movie and made some earrings.  Now you're all caught up on my day.  On to the earrings!

I used these fun yellow discs to create movement.  They are hanging loosely so they can still twirl around.  Then I added some small green and blue beads to the top.  I varied the color pattern to play with the idea of unmatched earrings, which I also did the other day.

These earrings are bright and sunny, like the weather will hopefully be for the remainder of break.  Ok, the weather might not be all that bright and sunny but I channeled my wishes through the earrings.  I'll let you know tomorrow if those wishes came true.
