Today I went to class and got a haircut (and color, which I never do!). Then I made some chicken for dinner. Grocery shopping was another highlight of the day. Now I'm watching old SNL episodes online and falling asleep. It's the weekend soon and that may bring some more exciting stories to tell you.
I have had some funky freshwater pearls hanging around for a while and I didn't know what to do of them because of their interesting shape. Finally tonight I decided to try a red bead and pearl combination. I think it worked!
The red beads are just some regular beads I had lying around that I happen to love because of their smoothness. Faceting is nice (like what you see on Swarovski crystals), but sometimes smooth beads are just nice, clean, and simple.
I'm really happy with these earrings. I was unsure about the color combination going into it and it definitely panned out. With that, I think it's bedtime.
