Today has been a lovely lazy day, as Saturdays usually are. Between yesterday and today the one thing I have done is apply to some jobs and internships. I must have emailed 20 galleries by now, so hopefully something will pan out!
The earrings I made today are ones I'm very proud of. I'm probably happier with these than I have been with my earrings for the past week or two. The green beads on top have a funny story attached to them. I bought them at the bead store near school but the first time I went, I came home with one small green bead and one bigger one (accidentally, of course). Unsure of what to do after having a good laugh, I threw them in my jewelry bag and forgot about them.
Months later, I went back to the bead store, saw the same beads, and realized the opportunity that presented itself. Again, I came home with two different sized beads but now each had their match waiting patiently in the bag. Perfect!
Tonight we're going into Philadelphia for the evening and tomorrow it's road trip time! We have a few scheduled stops on the way down and who knows what other adventures we'll get into. I am expecting open windows, '90s music blasting, lots of snacks, and lots of fun. Don't worry, you'll hear all about it.
