Day 36: A NECKLACE

Hey all!

Today I had class and then did some baking, gearing up for another bake sale tomorrow.  Chocolate chip scones, yum!  Now I'm listening to Flight of the Conchords and blogging.  What could be better?

If you didn't figure out from the title, I just want you to know that I've made waiting until after midnight for this post worth your while.  How so, you might ask?  It's a bird, it's a plane... no it doesn't even remotely look like those, it's a necklace!

I finally stopped being so lazy, went out of my comfort zone, and I'm happy with the results.  I strung the cool red beads I discovered last week on some necklace wire (I have no idea what the technical term is), and made a pendant using some newly honed wirework techniques.

Spirals dominate, as usual, but I wrapped a little extra wire on each spiral to secure it.  I also wrapped some wire in order to be able to string the pendant on.  I would describe it as simple but bold.  Maybe I should venture into the necklace trade more often?

Love and Beads,
Eve
