Today I did some dollar store shopping and not much else. Wednesdays are pretty silly because I don't have class until 6 pm so I don't feel the need to be productive until the evening. I was a little productive in jewelry terms though because I made a new light box. Now hopefully my pictures will be a little better (or they'll at least be free of window shades or printers in the background.
The earrings I made today were inspired by the color of my friend's scrubs. She's a nursing student (and it's her birthday!) and I found these great green beads that match her scrubs perfectly.
It's a little tough to tell from the picture (I'm working out a lighting issue) but the bottom beads are a shiny green color, not as dark as they seem. I strung them together with deep blue beads and silver crystal ones, and wrapped the whole thing in wire.
Now, as promised, I need to publicly wish happy birthday to my friend Marni. Happy birthday!
