Hey all!
Today I had a snow day! I got to hang out with friends, get a few beading supplies from AC Moore and hang out in Barnes and Noble reading books without buying them. I also got butane to fill my blow torch! Soon I can start working with my metal clay, but first I need to get some welding gloves to avoid catastrophic burns (I have a history of clumsiness).
Since I was in Barnes and Noble, it was inevitable that I would come across some beading books. I got some new ideas, but most of them involve buying more beads which isn't in the cards for right now. I did get some new hammering ideas though so here are the resulting earrings:
They're pretty funky, but I really love them. They look kind of like others I've made, with the hammered spiral. This time I did a little extra wire twisting to make an interesting piece of jewelry with just one piece of wire.
I then attached the piece to an earring hook that I just got from AC Moore today. I may revisit these and change the hook, but for now I think I'm satisfied.
Love and Beads,
Eve
