Hey all!
Well, today I woke up at 8. For no reason. It's the third day in a row I've been up at or before 8 and class hasn't even started yet. Maybe my body is adjusting from college student to working person a little early. Such a mystery!
The bright side of waking up early is I can get my earrings done before I start my day. Beautiful! In addition, I can take lovely sunlit pictures. So here we go:
The earrings I made today use a lot of wire. I think it's reminiscent of a chain and I think the large loops of wire work as a cohesive part of the earring.
I really love the combination of blue and yellow, and I think both colors work very well with gold. I also just love using the gold discs whenever I can. And you've probably realized how much I love my hammer. I hammered the end of the wire to hold the yellow bead on, then made a little loop to keep it more secure.
I'm happy with these earrings and all their components, and so proud of myself for getting up and making the earrings right away. No wasting the day for me!
Love and Beads,
Eve
