Today I cooked up a storm: asparagus risotto and nondairy creme brulee! The creme brulee was not such a success, but the risotto was great! Now I'm watching the Golden Globes and relaxing.
Today's earrings are kind of the lazy man's way out. But I can explain!
I found these beads in my bead stash and really liked them. I looked to find beads to go with them, but in the end I think they stand best alone. Then I tried wrapping them in wire, but alas, they stood better on their own. Finally, I resigned to keeping them on their own with just a spiral of wire to hold onto them.
I think the beads do well on their own. Unfortunately I couldn't really capture the color with my camera and lighting. I tried my best!
